The 10th World Conference on Qualitative Research (WCQR2026) is now accepting proposals for Panel Discussions, offering a dynamic platform for collaborative, in-depth exploration of key topics in qualitative research.
WCQR2026 will be held in Madrid, Spain, from 20 to 22 January 2026, and will continue in a synchronous online format from 2 to 5 February 2026, ensuring broader access and global participation. Organized by Ludomedia in collaboration with the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, WCQR continues to be a leading international event for scholars, researchers, and practitioners engaged in qualitative inquiry across disciplines.
We invite research teams and groups of scholars to submit innovative and interactive panel discussion proposals that explore emerging trends, pressing challenges, or innovative methodologies in qualitative research. Panel Discussions offer a unique opportunity to bring together multiple voices, experiences, and perspectives in a structured session designed to stimulate dialogue and collective reflection.
Panel sessions can be submitted under two presentation modes:
- In-Person, taking place at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid
- Online (Synchronous), ensuring real-time engagement for participants around the world
This is your opportunity to:
- Collaborate with colleagues and build interdisciplinary networks
- Highlight current developments in your field
- Foster discussion and critical engagement with global audiences
- Contribute to the advancement of qualitative research practice and theory
The submission deadline is 30 September 2025. Proposals should include a title, abstract, panel objectives, proposed panelists, and a brief description of the intended format.
Don’t miss the chance to shape the conversation at WCQR2026 and contribute to one of the most vibrant international communities of qualitative researchers.
